I tried this project and it made me so much fun! I started this idea because my working place is exakt on the Westallee street, such a perfect place. :D My photo machine (Photoautomat) is like a machine that we normally use it in Germany to take a biologisch photo for i.g. Visa requirement, even for an ID card (yeah! they scan a photopaper and place into a card. (lol) ) It's a kind of nostalgic. I want to play with people, because They had to stunt and wait for a few minutes, which for some people was impossible and they didn't realise anyway that they moved after 3 sec. Things that you wouldn't recognised if you don't have to draw them, especially for teens and children I found it's quite impossible. Because they grew up with a handy camera, internet. Everything drive so fast. And almost in daily life we don't have to wait for some.... I did this for 3 days, each day about 4-6h and the last day was with a Kunst im Hinterhof. What I found interesting is, each day had a definitely different target group. one day for children, another day for family and weekend for a couple.
This time was "Pay what you want" (auf Spendenbasis). ----- I'm still looking for a nice event, collabs project with my photo machine. If you're interesting please contact me per Mail hello@mayha-suaysom.com I'm happy to hear that!
That was a great time to work with Goethe Institut Thailand.

เวลาเปิดศัพท์ให้ใช้ Wörterbuch แบบเยอรมัน-เยอรมัน • อยากฝากอะไรให้น้องๆเพื่อนๆที่อยากไปอยู่เยอรมัน “The limits of my language are the limits of my world, Ludwig Wittgenstein” ภาษาเยอรมันสำคัญและมีประโยชน์กว่าที่คิดค่ะ Gemeinsam öffnen wir die Schatzkiste der Vielfältigkeit auf hoher See.
15. Why diversity matters and needs places to shine: OUSA Collective / Interview by the New New2/27/2022 The first episode of "Same Same bur Different" is published in Spring/Summer 2021. This year I suddenly found this interview from the New New, a berliner collective. Irem and Filipa (a short-part of this interview) Would you like to show us two of your favourite illustrations and tell us about them? Filipa: This illustration was done by Mayha, a migrant from Thailand who has been here for five years now. She illustrates light-hearted stories of being misunderstood as a migrant in Germany. We see it as important that we create space for people like us, who identify with being migrant, BPoc, and/or illustrators from the diaspora. In this space, people don’t have to justify themselves and can let go of the burden of being expected be an intense activist. This comic is called ‘Same, same. But different’ and shows how similar Germany and Thailand are, despite being completely different. OUSA is growing up! Let see what we gonna do in this year, 2022!
